Do brands take into account the physical diversity of customers when they present their collections?
Several newspapers and magazines* have noted that what we call “+ Size” are under-represented during fashion shows and collections.
But letting diversity express itself would also mean showing people who are very tall or very short, very muscular or very thin, of color, older, with a disability, etc.
Doublet, Marine Serre and Louis Gabriel Nouchi have committed to this approach (still very timidly) and are helping to change our view of the beauty of bodies.
